The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo (ACGT) is once again set to host the area’s best party…
The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo’s spring fundraiser, The Mix Twenty10, will be held on Saturday, March 20. We are taking over the Secor Hotel, 425 Jefferson, in Downtown Toledo, from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM. once again, but this year we are thinking about white leather boots, neon pinks and greens, and lots of silver for sparkle, against a stark white background. And we need your help to make it all happen!
The Art
The involvement of our local artists is a huge part of what makes The Mix Toledo’s best party. The original works of more than 30 local artists will be featured in The Mix Twenty10–a celebration of the future—from a 1970’s perspective, that is. Following is a partial listing of the participating artists:

Jack Schatzley of Schatzley’s Diamond and Jewelry Design Studio selected the Pendant by Masako Onoder as the winning design from submissions to the design competition. He is crafting the Pendant and it will be made available for auction at the March 20 event. He will also craft a second selection from among the submissions which will be chosen by the high bidder at the March 20 event.
The Food & Entertainment
Catering will be provided by Myles Baker Street and The Mix Twenty10, as always, will feature our region’s best entertainment options. Entertainment for the evening will feature Kevin Korecki & The Neon Jazz Trio, Blue Midnight Highway, Kentucky Khrome, Mojoflo, ans special guests The Hajera Cyborgs. PhotoBoothLive returns for another year of documenting the fun and merriment for all to see.
New to the Mix
New to The Mix this year is the Back to the Future raffle. There will be a selection of four unique raffle items, including artwork, a photography sitting, restaurant certificates, and sports packages. Raffle tickets will be sold for $20 each the night of the event. Raffle participants can stuff the drawing boxes for the items of their choice.
